Since my admission to practice law in 1981, I have endeavored to help Pennsylvania residents improve their quality of life both on a community basis as a West Chester assistant district attorney from 1982 to 1987 and since 1987 on a personal basis by helping individuals and families resolve their domestic matters with my family law practice, The Law Office of Marta S. Laynas.

I am committed to providing personal, compassionate and thorough legal representation to individuals and families in Chester, Montgomery and Delaware counties. My law firm focuses exclusively on family law matters. Since 1987, I have established a solid reputation among my colleagues of the bar and the bench. I make every effort to resolve my clients’ legal issues through mutual agreement, including negotiation and mediation, and this approach has saved many people time and money and reduced their emotional stress. But when mutual agreement is not possible or favorable for my client, I am fully prepared to go to court and fight for their rights.
